So its July 4th and I just finished work - 6 hours in the sun (well sun and rain) and a sweaty tear down I just wanted to come home and eat dinner.....
So I walk in the door no one is home to hand me food after my taxing day. Crap the dishes are not washed, (this means I have to wash them). Hmmmmm a salad, too much work to fix, chicken, nahhh that requires heating it up. I wonder if there is anything good in the freezer. A KLONDIKE BAR!!! perfect, I have not had one of those in years! I grabbed one and sat down to start eating. Its then that I realize there is something different. THEY MADE THE SMALLER! Klondike bars are now skinnier! WTF! I want all of my delicious Klondikey goodness. I demand a return of the ice-cream and chocolate that should be there. Go out today and get some Klondike bars you will notice the difference.
So Klondike bar people I am not happy with you at this point in time, you ruined my dinner.... geeze
So not cool. Not cool at all.

Hey I just noticed the same thing with a "crunch bar". About 50% smaller than I remember, less icream and you reminded me less chocolate. This is BS, not the Klondike bar I remember as kid. I don't think I'll be buying them again. Also it tasted overyly sweet.
Your blog keeps getting better and better! Your older articles are not as good as newer ones you have a lot more creativity and originality now keep it up!
You are totally right! I'm eating one right now and I am so mad that it's so much smaller than I remember. The reason that I bought them is cause I expected it to be much larger. Much to my surprise it was about half of the size - as before! No wonder they were on sale...
I just bought some klondikes and my first reaction was, WTF!! This thing is thin, its half the size... That is what prompted me to google "are klondikes smaller". Totally sucks. Won't be buying these again. Less chocolate too. Pooh pooh on u klondike!
2019 and guess, I haven't had a Klondike bar since 2007, because, what I remember, they were twice the size! Long and short, I had to eat 2!
Just had myb1st Klondike bar in years. I can't believe how skinny they got. And the icecream has no flavor.
